Manning Systems announces a new family of electrochemical and infrared sensors equipped with SensorCheck™, a revolutionary new embedded technology that actually checks numerous operating parameters of sensors and sends a notification output signal if any anomalies are identified.

The EC-F9-NH₃ is equipped with SensorCheck™ that tests the EC-F9-NH₃ every 24 hours for electrical viability. If a sensor dries up or is disconnected, SensorCheck™ diagnostics sends an indication that can be detected by a Manning Systems Gas Monitor or a PLC.

Manning Systems' new family of infrared gas sensing instruments are equipped with microprocessor-based SensorCheck™ technology. Every two seconds SensorCheck™ monitors the AirScan™ iR source and ensures that the dual channels are functioning properly. A notification signal will be transmitted if any of several performance parameters is not met. SensorCheck™ also monitors the incoming signal level from the source, as well as incoming voltage to ensure full signal strength.
