GM-4000
The GM-4000 is a microprocessor-based four-channel controller with four independent LCD displays. This economical unit is designed for ease of installation and operation.
General Description
Field adjustable setpoints for each channel allow the operator to easily set or adjust Warning (low alarm) and Alarm (high alarm) trip levels at the main control panel.
Each channel of the controller has a three digit alphanumeric Status LCD display of gas concentration, a Warning LED, Alarm LED, and Fault LED for complete "at a glance" system status.
The GM-4000 is equipped with a de-energized common Warning relay, a de-energized common Alarm relay, an energized common Fault relay, and eight discrete relays (Warning and Alarm for each channel). The eight discrete relays are field selected to function as energized or de-energized and latching or non-latching.
Two front panel touch-pad switches (Reset Alarm and Lamp Test) are used as control switches to acknowledge alarms and as a general system test. They are also used to calibrate the LCD (if necessary) and to adjust the alarm setpoints when in calibration mode.
Designed for easy installation, the GM-4000 is housed in a slim wall mounted, hinged swing-down door enclosure. All of the wiring terminals are located inside, opposite the applicable port for conduit fitting. The RFI / EMI protected enclosure is powder-coated steel.
