GM-1 Analog Output Board
Manning Systems GM-1 Single Channel Readout / Alarm Unit has audible / visual indications of gas concentration, as well as three (3) relay outputs as a standard feature. When an application requires that the 4/20 mA signal also be monitored, the optional GM-1-AOB provides a means to send that sensor signal directly to a PLC or other monitoring device that will input a 4/20 mA signal.
The GM-1-AOB Analog Output Board provides an isolated, 2-wire, 4/20 mA output signal. The Analog Output Board requires the customer's monitoring equipment to provide a 12 to 24 VCD supply voltage applied at the "+24" terminal and returns 4/20 mA at the "SIG" terminal. If the signal from the sensor is lost, the GM-1-AOB returns a 0.5 mA signal. The output operates as a two wire, loop powered device.
For larger applications, the Manning Systems GM-10 and GM-4 Multi-channel Readout / Alarm Systems also have optional 4/20 Analog Output Boards available.
