AirAlert^™ 96d

The AirAlert 96d is designed for installation and operational simplicity for continuous monitoring and control of toxic gases, combustible gases and oxygen hazards.

With a total of 96 gas sensors and relay modules linked to one controller, the AirAlert 96d detection system represents the most affordable protection for your gas monitoring requirements.

The AirAlert 96d provides continuous monitoring of up to 96 connected sensors on three distinct channels, acting as the nerve center of a modular gas detection network.

Installation costs are minimized by using an addressable RS-485 MODBUS communication protocol. Only two pairs of wires are required to connect all of the gas sensors and relay modules to one of the controller's three input channels.

Wiring Note: Communication Wiring – 24 AWG twisted pair, shielded (Belden 9841 or equivalent). Power Wiring – 14 AWG 2-conductor, stranded Belden 5100UE or equivalent) – up to ten sensors over 1000 feet, per power supply.

The AirAlert 96d provides a full array of displays. It is possible at a glance to determine the status of the entire network.

A user-friendly menu-driven program allows for minor fine-tuning of the sequence of operation to reconfiguration of the entire network.

Since no two projects are alike, the AirAlert 96d is designed to be highly customizable. This powerful controller represents the most affordable gas monitoring solution for commercial and industrial applications.

The AirAlert 96d controller provides automatic datalogging capability within a cast aluminum enclosure. A log of all of the sensors' concentrations and alarms is created for analysis.

The grouping/zoning feature of the AirAlert 96d provides relay output programming for specific control requirements.

The AirAlert 96d will support any combination of Manning Systems gas sensors, including ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, chlorine, refrigerants, methane, oxygen, nitrogen dioxide and others.

The AirAlert 96d can also interface to, but operate independently of plant systems. Calibration Kits are always available from Manning Systems to maintain and verify the highest level of total system performance.
