Overview
Manning Systems gas sensors are ruggedly constructed for long-term reliability and ease of maintenance in harsh industrial environments typical of food plants, including fruit and vegetable processing, meat and poultry processing, bakeries, etc.
Our broad selection of electrochemical and infrared diffusion-type sensors offers excellent choices for long-term trouble-free operation in the harsh environments of food processing and storage plants. Unlike sample draw systems, diffusion sensors monitor an entire facility continuously without concern for pump or filter maintenance, sample dilution or moisture in sample draw lines. Degradation inherent to sample draw systems is not a concern with the solid reliability of diffusion devices. This is especially apparent in facilities with continuous high moisture levels.
Manning Systems enclosures with optional ATMOS equipped® technology (Adaptive Temperature and Moisture Optimizing System) feature the first enviro-adaptive technology available for gas sensors. Manning Systems electrochemical and infrared gas sensors with ATMOS equipped® technology can automatically adapt to environments from -50°F to 100% humidity and washdown conditions, assuring industry leading performance in the harshest environments.

All sensors can tie to Manning Systems dedicated multi-channel readouts with relays to trigger key emergency control functions. The Manning gas detection system consists of electrochemical and/or infrared sensors connected in real-time to 96d, HA20, HA40 or HA71 dedicated gas monitors – all protected by a single uninterruptible power system. Multiple relays trigger key emergency safety control of equipment shutdown functions and allow Emergency Responders to easily assess an ammonia or other gas leak situation - even in the event of computer viruses, operating system crashes or human error.
Portable gas sensors identify and pinpoint the source of a gas leak and provide dynamic information for maintenance personnel and emergency responders.
Manning Systems offers the EC-P2, a portable gas measuring and data logging instrument, complete with an interchangeable target gas selective electrochemical sensor, primary and secondary batteries, charger, storage case, data logging software and RS-232 output cable. An internal pump delivers a positive sample flow for quick, accurate measurement displayed in real time. SMART-CELLs can be exchanged easily without need for calibration.
